*SURVEILLANCE Surveillance investigations are critical to evaluating the validity of a worker's compensation claim. Videotape, photograph or eyewitness testimony provides valuable evidence to support or impeach a claimant's testimony. Providing clear, steady videotape under difficult circumstances separates STG INC from other investigative agencies. It is not unusual for our investigators to procure a videotape of claimants shopping in grocery stores, auto part stores and malls. In situations where videotaping is too risky, STG can provide a detailed written account of their observations and are available to testify in court.STG investigators typically spend 8-10 hours a day on a given surveillance investigation. Investigators usually arrive early in the morning to determine if the claimant appears to be working at home or employed by a third party. If the claimant is inactive for an extended period of time, surveillance may be discontinued until the afternoon or another day. STG investigators will determine if the subject is present during the surveillance period, so that we are not watching a "Dead House." *PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO SERVICE- STG performs video and photography services. We have the latest covert video equipment for performing surveillance on difficult assignments. We take 35mm stills, digital stills, VHS video and Digital 8mm of accident scenes, vehicles, fire damage, vessels, product liability issues, and more.Each investigator always has a 35mm camera, digital still camera, and a Digital 8mm in his vehicle. Short notice is not a problem.Digital stills can be printed, emailed, downloaded, or archived on a CDRom, DVD or Zip disk.
*CLAIMS INVESTIGATIONS -STG works with major insurance companies, risk management and employers to investigate workers compensation claims. We investigate these claims to determine if in fact an employee has faked or exaggerated their injuries, has unreported income or employment at a second job, or multiple claims under multiple identities.Our typical investigation would determine the claimant's current activities, any full or part-time employment held since the date of loss, dependents, health status, civil or criminal litigation's and recreational or strenuous activities in or around the home. If warranted, we can also conduct surveillance to further ascertain social, employment and recreational activities. STG will provide the client with a full, detailed report relative to the findings of our investigation. Most cases can be completed within two weeks. As More difficult cases can extend the length of time.

The term AOE - COE refers to determining if a work comp injury is "Arising Out of Employment" or it is in the "Course Of Employment." *ACTIVITY QUERIES Activity checks- are a cost-effective way to determine if further investigative efforts are needed. These checks serve as a "snapshot" of a claimant's activity on any given day. Our investigators arrive early in the morning, and if the claimant is active, remain in observance until activity ceases. In addition, investigators perform a neighborhood canvas to attempt to verify the claimant's day-to-day activities and patterns including evidence of a home business, home improvement project or hobby that violates restricted behavior.
